I've always loved graphic design and 100x100 icons are my particular weakness. (Love does not equal skill of course, but it's all good.) I believe icons speak volumes about the people who use them. They're windows to fandom and fanaticism; humor and heartbreak, dark times, sunny days, and holiday memories. Icons reveal personality when tone is lost in typing, and are vital to any online persona.

This is a graphics archive dedicated entirely to the making and distribution of icons. All are made by me, Dappled Light (known as Discord on my main domain).

Icons housed in this workshop are free for personal use in any kind of online journal, forum, website etc. There is no limit on how many you can take and no hindrance on what they can be used for, except in the case of re-archival and re-distribution. Under no circumstance are any of my icons to be put into another graphics website/archive and/or claimed as the work of another. I do not require credit for the usage of any of my graphics (though it's always appreciated), but I do consider it theft if you boldly proclaim them your own creation. If you use any of them as bases, a mention would be kind (and classy =P).

September.25.2009: Posted an old batch of holiday icons from 2004-2006. I have ones for Valentines Day, Easter, Halloween and Christmas (80+ total). With them, my archive comes to 560! I also opened the tutorial section with my first tut, Finding the Perfect Base. - Dappled Light

September.24.2009: I HAVE INTERNET!! I moved up to the Northest Kingdom this summer and after two months FINALLY have it again. YAYYAYYAYYAY!!! To celebrate, I posted that "horde" of promised Rurouni Kenshin icons. I also made two icon tutorials while twiddling my thumbs waiting to get back online, so those should be up soon. - Dappled Light

July.11.2009: I made a new layout and it's HUGE in resolutions less than 1280x720. SORRY! I added an absolute position to the top so at least it would scroll -_-;;. Version 6.0 uses DIV layers, fixed and repeating backgrounds and an iframe. The bottom graphic includes characters from Bleach, Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden and Rurouni Kenshin. I'm in the middle of a horde of Rurouni Kenshin icons and will get those up as soon as I'm done. - Dappled Light
