June.12.2009: I made ten new Full Metal Alchemist icons with a bit of my old style. I've tried to move away from it, but I can't seem to stop. I like loud, bright, COLOR. - Dappled Light
April.27.2009: Haven't made graphics in awhile, so the first Saiyuki icons might be a bit funky. BUT the anime archive is now over 200. I also editted the main welcome message a bit and got rid of the dead link for a seperate policy page. - Dappled Light
December.12.2008: Added a tiny batch to the Fullmetal Alchemist archive. A resource post for all my icon textures is in the works and will be up soon. - Dappled Light
November.26.2008: Made a few Bleach icons while waiting for the roads to clear. Am not looking forward to driving to my parent's house on crummy highway =/. - Dap
November.23.2008: My apartment is FREEZING with my heat-nazi landlord fixing the temperature at a balmy 60 degrees. I'm leaving my computer and going to spend the rest of the morning in bed, under two comforters. Made my first ever Fullmetal Alchemist icons and added them to the anime icon menu. - Dappled Light
November.22.2008: Abandoned Version 4.0 after four days cause it wasn't doing anything for me. Version 5.0 is just as simple, but seems to fill up space a bit better. It features members of the Bleach cast again and old school tables. Today, along with the layout change, I added 70 old icons to the other icon menu. - Dappled Light
November.21.2008: Just a small update this evening (work leaves me exhausted, as always). Reposted my thirty celebrity icons in the other icons section. Will probably make some new icons tomorrow, as the anime menu is looking awfully spartan. - Dappled Light
November.19.2008: I've got truckloads of icons sitting on my harddrive and have begun the laborious task of redoing their collection pages. Today I added the other icon menu and filled it with 53 heartbreak/sadness icons and 72 attitude/flair icons. I also opened the sitely section and reposted my old layouts and updates (from 2005 and 2006) to the new domain ftp client. Oh yeah, and I editted the current layout a bit (added a frame and better positioning). - Dappled Light
November.18.2008: This icon workshop is almost four years old! It started on December 29th, 2004, on Greatestjournal.com as an icon journal. In February 2005, it became a full-fledged website, hosted on a variety of add-infested free-servers. After a year of updating, I abandoned the workshop in favor of other pursuits. In 2008, I stumbled upon the old site randomly and decided to take back up updates and give it a permanent home on my domain, Genbukaiden.com. To christen its arrival, I made a new layout (Version 4.0) featuring Rukia from Bleach. I also posted the anime icon menu, and 145 Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden icons - Dappled Light

January.23.2006: Finished the last sorted page of icons by type. Visitors can now view all transparent GIF's together, instead of looking through each series collection. - Dappled Light
December.6.2005: Finally added my counter and guestbook. My provider kept track of my hits each month (since October) and I put the total in for a base number. Both are from bravenet.com, as evident by the prevalent ads accompanying every free service they offer >_<. Ah well, the cheap cannot complain. - Dappled Light
December.5.2005: My hard-drive crashed a few weeks ago and I lost my entire image archive on my computer. Needless to say, I've had to start from scratch and reinstall everything... and most of my pictures (the one used for my websites and my personal photos) weren't backed up and are gone. Sucky me. I finally went back to gettyimages.com and began the tedious process of rebuilding my collection. Posted 20 new Christmas icons, just in time for the holidays. Also added all the latest icons to the animated and lyrical archives. Will be posting a counter and guestbook soon, as I seem to keep forgetting them =/. - Dap
November.7.2005: In a spur of downtime (practically unheard of with only two semesters left till graduation) I decided to make a few new winter icons. Love how the colors came out, hope you all enjoy! - Dap

October.12.2005: Worked a bit on the neglected sitely section, activating the past updates, layouts and usage policy pages. Arg my knees hurt - the price one pays for sitting crosslegged and acting as table to their laptop -_-;;. [EDIT] Just added the lesbians collection with 16 brand spanking new icons. - Dappled Light
October.11.2005: Added 30 new icons to the celebrity, sadness and miscellaneous series'. With these, the total archive is now over 300 icons! Woot!- Dappled Light
October.10.2005: Made a brand new layout! Veeeerrry pink. Like the title font though ('Bring tha Noise' for those curious). Revised the main page a bit and fixed up my style sheet. Also added a new series, Body-Shots, with nearly 20 icons AND posted the HUGE bases page. - Dap
October.9.2005: It's 2am, and I just finished 14 new women body-shot icons. Check them out in the old Diva section, renamed Attitude/Flair. Night all. - Dappled Light

October.7.2005: The hiatus is over! Unannounced, I let this newborn site lay fallow for 8 months. Didn't touch icons, or my icon journal in general. But here I am once more, passion renewed. Moved to a new host (and new url) after a bit of searching. Despite the pop-ups, I'm pleased with it so far. I reposted 214 of my icons, bringing the total gallery of this archive to 241. I created and uploaded 15 subpages and revised the navigation on your left. Whooo. Almost ready to start advertising this baby! - Dap
